J.I.D recently appeared on Power 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club” radio show to chop it up with Angela Yee and Charlamagne The God about his new album, The Forever Story.

While on the show, which you can watch below, the Dreamville rapper broke down his “Just In Time” collaboration with Lil Wayne and shared a story of when he one time got booed for opening up a concert for Wayne.

At the 17:45 mark, J.I.D revealed he did not listen to Weezy‘s verse on “Just In Time” until they started the mixing process (he only heard the lighter flick as he did not think it was all real), as well as explained when he went on a small college run tour with Tunechi back in 2016 at the Old Dominion University in Norfolk, he got booed as Tune was running late!

“I actually went on a small college run with [Wayne] in like 2016 and got booed. First time I ever got booed on some… just because bro was late. Shout out to Wayne. But bro was late and they was waiting on him… I didn’t even get a chance to rap yet bruh. As soon as I walked out on stage, I was like: ‘I must be the ugliest n*gga in the world’, because they was straight ‘boooo!'”

G Herbo recently appeared on Power 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club” radio show to chop it up with DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne The God about his new album, Survivor’s Remorse.

Around the 34 minute mark of their interview, Herb called Lil Wayne his “favorite of all time, for real” and confirmed he has spoken to Wayne a few times, but he really wants to “connect” with him. He added that he will feel he has really made it once he gets into the studio with Weezy to work on music.

2 Chainz appeared on Power 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club” radio show recently to chat with DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne The God about his new album, Dope Don’t Sell Itself.

At the 15:25 mark of their interview, Tity Boi revealed his next project is going to be the collaboration album he has with Lil Wayne – ColleGrove 2. He mentioned that it is “really, really, really different” and it will sound like you are in the Metaverse when you listen to it.

Later on in the convo around the 21:20 mark, Chainz was asked if Wayne knows what the Metaverse is, as well as confirmed that ColleGrove 2 will be 15 songs long and is currently in the stage of getting mixed. He then went on to discuss his relationship with Tune, which has been going strong for over 20 years now!

At the 6:00 mark of their interview (watch below), Cordae spoke on how he connected with Lil Wayne for their “Sinister” collaboration, which first came from his appearance on Wayne‘s “Young Money Radio” show 10 months prior.

The North Carolina artist reveals Weezy sent his “Sinister” verse back in less than 24 hours, as well as discussed his admiration for Tune‘s hunger in his craft as he has professionally been creating music for 20 years plus and is still to this day dropping high quality features!

Young Thug was a recent guest on Power 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club” show to chop it up with Angela Yee and Charlamagne The God, and to promote his new album, Punk.

At the 57:35 mark of their conversation, Thug speaks on his current relationship with Lil Wayne and how all of their past issues was a misunderstanding as he never meant for it to look like he was trolling Wayne, due to him being his idol.

Thugger also mentions him and Tunechi have been to the studio a few times and have a few songs completed together.
