The original version of this Smash David and Rekless-co-produced song can be found on Tory‘s Love Me Now? album, which is available on all streaming platforms now.

Tory Lanez Announces Talk To Me Remix Featuring Lil Wayne, Shares His Thoughts On Tha Carter V

Tory Lanez recently sat down with Big Boy on his Real 92.3 radio show in Los Angeles, California for an interview and to promote his new album, Love Me Now.

At the 36:10 mark of the conversation, Tory announced Lil Wayne just jumped on his “Talk To Me” single off his Love Me Now album that originally featured Rich The Kid. The Canadian artist revealed Wayne gave him a “legendary verse” and it will be released within the next week or two.

Before moving on with the interview, which you can check out below, Lanez mentioned he is a real Tunechi fan and he is one of his biggest influences, as well as that he used to pretend to be Tune in the mirror while growing up. He also shared what he thinks of Tha Carter V and added what his favorite song off the project is!

A couple of days ago, Rich The Kid took to Twitter to hint at working on a joint project with Lil Wayne by tweeting:

“PSA I’m dropping a collab album with the goat _________ jus be ready”

Even though the Rich Forever Music CEO didn’t say Mr. Carter‘s name directly, he did say “The G.O.A.T.”, which is what Tunechi has been calling himself a lot lately. We’ve also heard Rich call Tune “The G.O.A.T.” numerous times in interviews.

Another big hint that the upcoming collaboration album is with Wayne is due to Rich The Kid putting 9 underscores in the tweet and that’s how many letters is in “Lil Wayne” (including the space). For whatever reason, the tweet has since been deleted, but would you be excited to hear a collabo project from Rich and Weezy?
