Tyler, The Creator Announces A New Collaboration With Lil Wayne & Discusses How Good

Tyler, The Creator and director Mikey Alfred recently took part in a Q&A session with fans at the premiere of their “Cherry Bomb” documentary, which you can watch below.

Around the 13:00 mark, Tyler mentioned he loves Kanye West but Lil Wayne‘s verse on “Smuckers” is his favorite off his Cherry Bomb album, as well as talks how good Wayne‘s “Believe Me” single is.

“Nigga I’ll fire this Nina like it’s her first day on the job and the bitch overslept”

The Odd Future co-founder also revealed that Weezy has sent him a new verse for a collaboration, so let’s hope we hear it soon!

Lil Wayne & Kanye West Appear In A Sneak Peek Of Tyler The Creator Cherry Bomb Documentary

Later this month on January 29th, Tyler, The Creator will be releasing a documentary titled “Cherry Bomb” on DVD. We previously saw a trailer for “Cherry Bomb” 2 months ago, and now today, we can see another preview from the doc.

In the 1-minute clip, Kanye West can be seen recording his verse on “Smuckers” with Tyler talking all about the song, which can be found on his 2015 album, Cherry Bomb. Lil Wayne talks about how he got on the track too.

You can check out the teaser after the jump below. As well as Weezy and Yeezy, the full “Cherry Bomb” documentary will also include appearances and interviews from A$AP Rocky, Pharrell, ScHoolBoy Q, and more!

Tyler, The Creator will be releasing a documentary on DVD called “Cherry Bomb” in January, 2017 and today he has shared a preview of it that you can check out below.

Lil Wayne, Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell, ScHoolBoy Q, and other music artists will all star in the doc that will show a behind the scenes look at how Tyler‘s Cherry Bomb album was created, which of course includes the “Smuckers” song featuring Wayne and Kanye.

In other news, Weezy will be performing live during Tyler, The Creator‘s 2016 Camp Flog Gnaw carnival at the Exposition Park in Los Angeles, California this weekend. Tyler will also premiere the first 10 minutes of the documentary at the festival!

Tyler, The Creator recently visited Los Angeles’ radio station Real 92.3 to chat with Big Boy on his show and to promote his latest album, Cherry Bomb.

During this fun 50-minute interview, Tyler spoke on various subjects including how it was like working with the features on his album. This is then when he mentioned how it was “fuckin’ crazy” that he rapped back and forth with Lil Wayne on “Smuckers“.

“They know what era of them I appreciate, so they brought that on to the song that I have with them and it’s just crazy to hear me go back and forth with Wayne… that shit is just fuckin’ crazy!”
