Gillie Da Kid Names Lil Wayne As The Top Rapper Of The 2000s

Earlier this year, Gillie Da Kid and Wallo267 joined Sway Calloway, Heather B and Tracy G for an interview on their “Sway In The Morning” radio show.

During their conversation, the two of them listed their top rappers from each decade with Gillie saying Run DMC for the 1980s, Tupac for the 1990s, and Lil Wayne for the 2000s.

The Philadelphia rapper and actor also revealed him and Tunechi are “cool” since they used to have beef over 10 years ago. Check out the full interview below. The Weezy part starts around the 3:35 mark!

Kimbella, who is the wife of Juelz Santana, recently called into “Sway In The Morning” to chat with Sway Calloway, Heather B and Tracy G, and give an update on her husband.

Around the 21:20 mark of their conversation, Kimbella shared the status of Juelz and Lil Wayne‘s forthcoming I Can’t Feel My Face joint album by announcing it will be released as soon as the Dipset rapper is free from prison this year.

Also in their interview, which you can check out below, Kimbella revealed she currently has 10 songs from the collab project, she is “so excited” for it to drop, she plays it over and over again, and “there is not one song” she does not like that she says is not normal for her!

Damian Lillard Speaks On Being In The Studio With Lil Wayne, His Work Ethic & Hearing Unreleased Music

A couple of days ago, Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A. did a press run in New York City for his upcoming Confirmed album and his new “Run It Up” single featuring Lil Wayne, which you can check out in the clips below.

One of these press run stops included a visit to Shade 45’s “Sway In The Morning” radio show. At the 5:00 mark, Dame spoke to Sway Calloway and Heather B about being in the studio with Weezy and bouncing ideas off of each other to beats, as well as revealed they have “a number of songs” that they have recorded together from his first album to now.

The NBA player and rapper also stopped by Complex to appear on episode 197 of their “Everyday Struggle” series. Throughout his appearance, Lillard discussed plenty of things about Tunechi, such as his work ethic, Cash Money trying to block his verse on “Loyal To The Soil“, listening to his music, what he learned from being in the studio with him, and hearing unreleased Tune music!
