Kevin Gates Thanks Lil Wayne For Motivating Him [Video]

Kevin Gates Thanks Lil Wayne For Motivating Him

Kevin Gates recently sat down with Sway Calloway for an interview to promote his new project, Luca Brasi 3, which was released on the same day as Tha Carter V.

During their conversation, Gates reflected on the time that Lil Wayne threatened to stop him from signing to any other record label if he didn’t sign a deal with Young Money Entertainment.

You can watch the Louisiana rapper share the story of what happened when he sat down at a table with Weezy, Mack Maine and Fee Banks, who was his manager at the time, after the jump below.

Even though he mentioned that it was the “scariest moment” of his life and remembers Tunechi say things like: “I’mma eat you”, Kevin shouted out Tune for his negotiation tactics as it ended up motivating him.

The two of them must be cool with each other now, because Wayne has shouted out Kevin Gates on his “Bugatti” freestyle off Dedication 5 and even tweeted out a link to his “Perfect Imperfection” song, which is also one of my favorite tracks from Gates!

Lil Wayne Explains Why It’s Not Acceptable To Throw Stuff On Stage At Him During 2018 Cannabis Cup SoCal Show [Video]

Lil Wayne Explains Why Its Not Acceptable To Throw Stuff On Stage At Him During 2018 Cannabis Cup SoCal Show

Once again, some idiot threw something up on stage at Lil Wayne while he was performing to which he stopped the show to explain why it is not acceptable.

As he was performing “A Milli” live at the NOS Center in San Bernardino, California on April 21st during the 2018 Cannabis Cup SoCal concert, Tunechi saw something get thrown at him:

“Y’all throwing stuff on stage, I don’t know if it’s love or y’all tryna promote something, but I’m from New Orleans and we don’t know how to accept that shit. And I got New Orleans people with me and all they know how to throw back is ‘shoot.’ They just shoot. So I don’t want to end this show in a bad way, so let’s just keep it going. Don’t throw nothing at me cause I’ll make these kill any fucking body, I swear to God.”

You can see the footage below! What’s crazy is that this happened in Sydney last month, Idaho last year, Dublin in 2013, New Jersey in 2013, Cape Town in 2011, and numerous other times, but it always seems to happen when Weezy is performing “A Milli“?

Joe Budden Tells The Story Of How Lil Wayne Threatened To Kill Him Over Gudda Gudda Comments

Joe Budden Tells The Story Of How Lil Wayne Threatened To Kill Him Over Gudda Gudda Comments

On episode 158 of The Joe Budden Podcast, the Slaughterhouse rapper shared the story of how Lil Wayne one time threatened to kill him.

Joe Budden revealed it all first happened when he saw Weezy at an awards show and asked him for a verse on his “She Don’t Put It Down” single before then going on to say something about Young Money artist Gudda Gudda that was captured footage.

Wayne then told him he was going on tour with Eminem, but would still try and do the verse, so when Joe called up Tunechi at a later date to ask him about the verse, this is when Tune called him out as he had ended up seeing the clip of Budden dissing Double G and wasn’t happy at all:

“You better apologize motherfucker, you got nerve to ask for a verse after you disrespect my family? You lucky motherfucker…”

To cut a long story short, Mouse ended up apologizing to Gudda personally and Mr. Carter went and did the “She Don’t Put It Down” verse for him. You can listen to this crazy story at the 37:00 mark of the conversation below! Thoughts?

For a stop on the 2018 Jumanji Festival tour on Saturday (March 10th), Lil Wayne headlined a concert at Parramatta Park in Western Sydney, Australia.

At the start of the show when performing “John” live, someone in the crowd threw a water bottle on stage at Weezy that nearly hit him in the face to which he stopped the music and had the following to say:

“Okay, so let me let you know. Where I’m from, I think y’all know that’s the States, we don’t throw shit on stage because all my niggas got pistols and they don’t know who to shoot at. So if you throw something else, I’mma be more safe, and I’mma be the bigger person and just leave, cause I don’t wan’ kill everybody.”

You can check out some footage of this below. I’ll post up some more clips from Tunechi‘s live concert in Sydney this upcoming week!

During this concert, we saw Weezy get angry at a fan for throwing money on stage as he was performing “Ride For My Niggas” before getting him kicked out:

“Nigga do I look like a stripper? The fuck you throwing money on stage for you pussy ass, I’ll make a nigga smack your bitch ass right now! Ayo, let’s get this bitch-ass nigga from out of here.”

Some better quality footage of this situation has surfaced online and you can check it out after the jump below!
