Lil Wayne was supposed to release Dedication 5 mixtape yesterday, but like every other Wayne project, it got pushed back. The reason for this push-back was because Tunechi recorded two new songs for the tape before his concert in Concord last night.
While there is no new release date for the Dedication 5 mixtape, Weezy F Baby did go on Twitter to let us fans know what’s going on with the project.
Birdman just called into Hot 97 to speak with Angie Martinez about the status of Lil Wayne‘s health. The YMCMB boss says Weezy F Baby is doing much better and he should be released from hospital on Wednesday. He confirms that there was no truth to TMZ posting what they did about Wayne being in a coma and overdosing on syrup.
Baby also tells the story of Tunechi having the seizure, because it happened right in front of him while they were shooting the “Tapout” music video. He explained that they had to lay Weezy down and put him in an ambulance as soon as possible, so they could contain and relax him. Birdman mentions that Tune suffered from the seizure on Tuesday night and has been in the hospital since then without leaving. He thinks the cause of the seizure was from hard work and lack of rest.

Six days after being rushed to hospital after suffering from multiple seizures, Lil Wayne is still recovering in the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Birdman tweeted that Wayne would be heading home at the weekend, but it looks like Weezy F Baby‘s condition has not got any better so the doctors are keeping him in the Los Angeles hospital for a little longer.
Other than his family and close friends, Drake, Chris Paul, Baby and Nicki Minaj have all been spotted visiting Tunechi to show their support. While promoting their Spring Breakers film on Friday, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens also showed their concern for Weezy and his health trouble. Check out what they said below:
Just yesterday, I posted that Lil Wayne had been rushed to hospital earlier in the week after suffering from multiple seizures. Now even more scarier news has just surfaced online saying that Weezy F Baby is in critical condition after suffering from yet another seizure.
According to TMZ, one of Wayne‘s bodyguards went in to his room and found him on the floor unconscious. He was taken to ICU and placed in restraints, because he was shaking non-stop.
Sources tell TMZ that they think the reason behind these seizures are because Tunechi has been drinking too much syrup. The doctors had found a high amount of codeine in his system and they also mentioned that Tune had to have his stomach pumped three times to flush all the drugs out of his system.

So it looks like TMZ made a lot of this story up. But Weezy did have a seizure and he is currently recovering in the hospital.
It’s been a slow few days with Lil Wayne news, so I decided to make a new post with three updates on Wayne that I wouldn’t normally make a single post for.
The first update is Cortez Bryant announced last night that the official tracklist for Weezy F Baby‘s upcoming album, I Am Not A Human Being II, will be released online this weekend. I can’t wait to see that!
The second update is Tunechi responded to Pitbull’s horrendous diss record over the “Harlem Shake” instrumental this morning. He tweeted: “Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool.”
And finally, Future recently tweeted that the next single off the forthcoming compilation album from YMCMB called Rich Gang: Flashy Lifestyle will feature himself, Weezy, and Birdman. There is currently no release date for when this song will premiere, but it should be anytime between today and May 21st, which is the actual date the project will drop.
I wonder if Tune will do his own remix over the “Harlem Shake” beat dissing Pitbull and all of those other dusty rappers who caught feelings over what he said about the Miami Heat sports team and not the actual city Miami ❓
