Episode 11 took place on Friday night (July 10th) of Lil Wayne‘s “Young Money Radio” show, which included special guests Kid Cudi, Gucci Mane, Rich The Kid, Bubba Wallace, and Ashley Robinson. You can check out videos of all of these conversations below!

During the show, Wayne chatted to Rich about his top 3 skaters before making a promise to attend his wedding with his wife, talked to Ashley about how it feels to be the first African American President of the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA), and spoke with Gucci about music, sending a new song over, his new book, sports and how he was supposed to go on a tour until COVID-19 happened.

Weezy also chopped it up with Bubba about how it was being half black and half white while growing up in Alabama, depression, and finding a noose in his garage. He also conversed with Cudi about how his new Eminem collaboration came about (started from Wayne and Em‘s previous interview), a new animated TV show with Kanye West, mental health, a new podcast, earning his first No. 1 on the “Hot 100”, how much of an influence Mr. Carter has been on him, and the Cleveland artist confirmed he would send Tunechi a new song to jump on which made Tune reply with: “Eminem effect when I send it back, just know.”

Lil Wayne graces the front cover of Billboard‘s Fall issue, which will be available on newsstands September 15th.

For his cover story, Weezy spoke on a lot of things including Tha Carter V, his children, tweeting, 2 Chainz’ wedding, seizures, features, Nicki Minaj, suicide, retirement, greatness, Drake, and more.

One interesting part from the story is that they reveal the outro on Tunechi‘s C5 album will be about attempting suicide and it will sample British R&B singer Sampha’s “Indecision” song:

“When he was 12, Wayne came across a gun in his mother’s house and shot himself in the chest, just missing his heart. In the past, he has called this an accident. But on the new verse he plays, Wayne admits this was a suicide attempt, undertaken after his mother told him he would no longer be allowed to rap. The track, which samples British R&B singer Sampha’s brooding but hopeful 2013 song ‘Indecision’ and will be the album’s outro, was on the original album tracklist, but Wayne added new lyrics this summer, following the suicides of designer Kate Spade and celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain.’

Also during their conversation, we get confirmation that Young Money Entertainment now solely belongs to Tune, but their distribution deal with Republic Records remains in place. You can check out some excerpts from the interview and pics from the photo shoot below!

After seeing some pictures and footage a few days ago, we can now see more pics of Lil Wayne attending 2 Chainz and Kesha Ward‘s wedding at the Versace Mansion in Miami on August 18th.

In the photos, Weezy can be seen posing with Tity Boi and Dolla Boy, who used to be known as the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle, as well as walking in with one of the bridesmaids.

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz both hit up LIV nightclub in Miami, Florida on August 19th, which was the day after Chainz got married at the Versace Mansion.

The two of them were joined on the podium by O.T. Genasis and they all performed their hits live, including “Watch Out“, “A Milli“, “Cut It“, “Steady Mobbin’“, “No Problem“, and more.
