Episode 11 took place on Friday night (July 10th) of Lil Wayne‘s “Young Money Radio” show, which included special guests Kid Cudi, Gucci Mane, Rich The Kid, Bubba Wallace, and Ashley Robinson. You can check out videos of all of these conversations below!

During the show, Wayne chatted to Rich about his top 3 skaters before making a promise to attend his wedding with his wife, talked to Ashley about how it feels to be the first African American President of the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA), and spoke with Gucci about music, sending a new song over, his new book, sports and how he was supposed to go on a tour until COVID-19 happened.

Weezy also chopped it up with Bubba about how it was being half black and half white while growing up in Alabama, depression, and finding a noose in his garage. He also conversed with Cudi about how his new Eminem collaboration came about (started from Wayne and Em‘s previous interview), a new animated TV show with Kanye West, mental health, a new podcast, earning his first No. 1 on the “Hot 100”, how much of an influence Mr. Carter has been on him, and the Cleveland artist confirmed he would send Tunechi a new song to jump on which made Tune reply with: “Eminem effect when I send it back, just know.”

Yesterday, Lil Wayne joined Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe as a special guest on their UNDISPUTED sports talk TV show.

While on the show, Tunechi told the story once more about how a white cop he calls Uncle Bob saved his life when he shot himself over mental health issues whereas the black cops all jumped over him looking for the gun. Tune then went on to say that the same white cop Uncle Bob was the one who arrested his “father” Birdman and put him in jail for years.

Yesterday, Lil Wayne made his very first appearance on Instagram Live (even though he has been on it before for Young Money Radio) by being a special guest on Fat Joe‘s new podcast titled “The Fat Joe Show“.

During their 28-minute conversation, Tunechi spoke on what age he first started rapping, shooting himself by accident, a white police officer named Uncle Bob who was off duty saving his life, meeting him years later in a restaurant, and what he thinks about the horrible murder of George Floyd by four cops in Minneapolis.

Weezy also discussed being locked up in Rikers Island for 8 months, getting his “never quit” attitude and drive from Birdman at a young age, his influence being the #1 Stunna, putting Drake and Nicki Minaj on, what he taught his son Kameron Carter after Nipsey Hussle was murdered, how proud he is about influencing a whole new generation of rap, an upcoming collaboration he has with Lil Uzi Vert, being the first to do the “rock-rap” genre of music, attending the late Betty Wright‘s funeral, performing “Sweet Home Alabama” with Kid Rock at the Country Music Association Awards, and much more!

Skip Bayless Speaks On His Friendship With Lil Wayne, Reveals A Good Deed Wayne Did For Craig Humphreys Son Sam

For episode 2 of UNDISPUTED’s “#SkipRidesTheTrollerCoaster” series, Skip Bayless revealed how his relationship with Lil Wayne came to be.

At the 6:05 mark of the video below, Bayless told the story of how he first met Tunechi in 2008 (which involves Nelly), mentioned they talk regularly and text all of the time, discussed Tune‘s passion and knowledge for sports, praised the “No Mercy” theme song, and called him a “creative genius”.

The sports columnist also explained how much of a good guy Wayne actually is by sharing another story that involved Craig Humphreys‘ son Sam, who found out he had testicular cancer at the age of 21-years-old. After finding out that he is a huge fan, Weezy made a 20-minute phone call to Sam for support. Skip then went on to say he believes this motivated Sam to battle the cancer before adding that him and Mr. Carter shared a joke about it always being “all the white kids” – even at his concerts!

Outside of the 4th annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” in New Orleans, Louisiana last weekend (August 25th), there was official Lil Wayne merchandise designed by Ignored Prayers that sold out immediately.

After this news and Tunechi loving the merch himself, Ignored Prayers are now doing a limited online release of their “Lil Weezyana” hats and t-shirt, so that us fans who couldn’t make it to this year’s music festival can purchase them.
