Chance The Rapper & Lil Wayne Perform No Problem Live At NBA All Star Game

The following day after performing with Damian “Dame D.O.L.L.A.” Lillard on February 15th, Lil Wayne hit the stage with Chance The Rapper at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Chance brought out Wayne, who was rocking pants created from Kobe Bryant jerseys, to perform their “No Problem” collaboration live during the halftime show at the 69th annual NBA All-Star Game.

During his verse, Weezy switched up the lyrics a little bit to pay tribute to Kobe and his daughter Gianna after they passed away from a helicopter crash less than a month ago: “Rest in peace to Kobe Bryant and his daughter, blood”.

Tory Lanez recently sat down with Rob Markman for a one on one interview with Genius‘ “For The Record” series, which you can watch in full below.

To wrap up the conversation at the 39:15 mark, Lanez was asked to recite a verse acapella of someone who he was a fan of growing up to which he started to rap Lil Wayne‘s classic “Cannon” verse from Dedication 2.

After reciting all of the verse word for word, the Canadian artist then revealed it is his favorite verse from Wayne and his favorite verse ever from that era. Earlier on in the interview around the 15:00 mark, Tory also discussed his new “Thoughts” collaboration with Weezy and Lloyd off Chixtape 5 too!

Kendrick Lamar Reacts To Lil Wayne Saying He Will Quit Music, Raps Old Wayne Verses Word For Word

Like everyone else, Kendrick Lamar does not want Lil Wayne to quit or retire from music! The Compton rapper, who had been drinking, recorded a public service announcement of himself talking to the camera about Wayne and rapping his old verses word for word at 5:30AM this morning.

K. Dot‘s reaction to hearing Tunechi wanted to leave hip-hop was “Fuck that!”, as well as shouted “No!” more than a few times. He also mentioned that he was in the studio working on features and he can remember Tune back in 2007-2008 knocking out “ten motherfucking features in a row… back to back”.

The old Weezy verses that Kendrick was rapping are: “Gangsta Shit” off 500 Degreez, “Ridin’” off Guerrilla Warfare, “Respect My Mind” off Guerrilla Warfare, and “Where You At” off 500 Degreez. You can check out the 3-minute-and-a-half clip after the jump below!
