Netsky Says It Was A Childhood Dream For Him & Bazzi To Work With Lil Wayne

Before premiering “I Don’t Even Know You Anymore“, Netsky spoke to Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Apple Music’s radio show all about his new collaboration with Lil Wayne and Bazzi.

The Belgium music producer discussed why he got Tunechi and Bazzi on his new single, revealed it had been in the works for a while, and added that it was a “childhood dream” for both himself and the Michigan singer-songwriter to work with Tune.

Lil Wayne Calls In To Nicki Minaj Apple Music Beats 1 Radio Interview

A few days ago, Nicki Minaj sat down with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 Apple Music radio show for an interview and to premiere her new singles “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li“.

During their interview, Lil Wayne called in to chat about how Nicki has “changed the culture” and how a “whole gang of people” have followed her path.

Throughout the call, Weezy also had some other funny things to say about Zane‘s accent, not listening to anybody else’s music, and more:

“I just wanted to go ahead and let the world know that with the album cover art that the two Fs at the bottom of you know what are for Weezy F F. That was our way of letting the world know that we are a power couple. We got the motivation from the BlackPeopleMeet commercial.”

“‘Do you know how much I love you?’ Just show me tonight… show me tonight.”

“I’ll be waitin’ in the bed butt-naked, Nick.”

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have premiered a new song from their upcoming ColleGrove collaboration album that will be released tomorrow (March 4th).

The track is called “Gotta Lotta” and it was first played by Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show. This is the second record we have heard from ColleGrove after Weezy and Tity performed “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday” live on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” last month.
