The original version of this Mannie Fresh-produced collaboration appears on Juvie‘s 400 Degreez album, which was released back in 1998.

It’s that time of the week again! This week’s “Feature Friday” installment is a Juvenile song titled “Flossin’ Season” featuring verses from Birdman, B.G. and Mannie Fresh, as well as a chorus from Lil Wayne.

The Mannie Fresh-produced track appears on Juvie‘s third studio album, 400 Degreez, which was released back in 1998.

Chris Johnson Talks Being Good Friends With Lil Wayne, Calls Him His Favorite Rapper

In an interview with The Players’ Tribune, former American football running back Chris Johnson revealed how he “became real good friends” with Lil Wayne.

Johnson told the story (watch below) of how he was at a Wayne concert with his team mates when he asked a security guard if he could meet Tunechi and to his surprise, he was invited onto Tune‘s tour bus.

As soon as they saw each other, Weezy mentioned to Chris Johnson that he was on his fantasy team before they then exchanged phone numbers. He even referenced Chris on his “Popular” song: “She run through my head; Chris Johnson, I’mma tackle her”.

The former NFL player also added that Mr. Carter has always been his favorite rapper since high school, recalled having arguments in school about who was better out of Lil Wayne and 50 Cent, and recollected the first time he heard Wayne was on Juvenile‘s 400 Degreez album!

Wild Wayne from New Orleans radio station Q93 recently spoke with Lil Wayne over the phone for an interview to promote his “Lil Weezyana Fest” that will be taking place next month.

During the 30-minute conversation, Weezy spoke on his Free Weezy Album, music being his life, if it ever gets difficult for him, getting advice from Juvenile during the early Cash Money days, trying to impress Juvie on songs instead of fans, calling Birdman’s work phone every day and rapping on the voice message, who his influences are, Baby not liking the idea of Sqad Up, naming his album 500 Degreez after Juvie dropped 400 Degreez, Young Thug trying to name his album Tha Carter VI, finding Nicki Minaj and Drake, getting texts from his idol Jay Z, and more.

Tunechi also revealed in the interview that Kevin Gates was signed to Young Money for a minute and that his own favorite songs from FWA are either “My Heart Races On” and “London Roads“. You can listen to the full conversation between Tune and Wild Wayne after the jump below!

During their conversation, Juvie confirmed that we can be looking forward to some new music from himself, Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh to come in the future!

Juvenile also spoke on if he thinks Young Thug wanting to name his project “Tha Carter VI” is karma coming back to Weezy after he named his 2002 album “500 Degreez“, which was of course inspired by Juvie‘s “400 Degreez” album title.
