In their conversation, Jones talked about how it feels to be from the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans, which is the same place that Lil Wayne is from.
Jay also discussed signing to Wayne‘s record label Young Money, as well as witnessing Weezy work in the studio for 30 hours straight and how that improves his own work ethic!
Jay Jones took to his social media pages earlier this year to tease an upcoming collaboration with his Young Money boss Lil Wayne.
Even though the song is currently untitled and has no release date, we do know that it will appear on Jay‘s forthcoming Grove Boy project.

With DJ Khaled as the host, Side A of No Ceilings 3 includes a total of 20 songs with features from Drake, Young Thug, HoodyBaby, Euro, Gudda Gudda, Vice Versa, Lil Tune, Cory Gunz, YD, Young Carter, Young Kam Karter, and Jay Jones.

Here is the official music video for a new Lil Wayne song called “Thug Life” featuring his Young Money artists Jay Jones and Gudda Gudda.
The video, which was directed by Olivia Cohen and Spanish Mike, was filmed at the Diamond Supply Co. indoor skate park in Los Angeles, California back in February, 2019.
