Nicki Minaj Recalls Reciting A Lyric In Front Of Lil Wayne 9 Years Ago

At the weekend, David Guetta, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj shot a music video for their new “Light My Body Up” collaboration in Miami, Florida.

While sharing a photo from on set of the video shoot, the Young Money Barbie recalled reciting a line off her and Tunechi‘s “Go Hard” freestyle in front of Tune back in 2008.

Lil Wayne Full Interview With Nightline, Talks About His Lyrics, Weed, Skating, Jail & More

We first saw a preview yesterday, and now here is Lil Wayne‘s full interview with Linsey Davis for ABC‘s Nightline show, which you can check out after the jump below.

During their conversation, Weezy spoke on people calling his music “vulgar” and “degrading”, if he would have a problem with someone calling his daughter Reginae a “bitch” or a “hoe”, his relationship with weed, skateboarding, what he learned from his time locked up at Rikers Island in 2010, and more.

At the end of the interview when Tunechi was asked about the Black Lives Matter movement, he explained why he doesn’t feel connected to it and then pulled out his red flag to say he is a gang banger and he feels connected to that. Tune also ended the conversation angrily by saying “I ain’t no fucking politician”!

Lil Wayne Returns To The Studio

Last night, Lil Wayne was getting back to business after being away for 8 months. Weezy had his first recording session at Hit Factory in Miami which lasted through till the morning. You can see a photo above, and you can also see that Tune is using a notebook which he has not done since he was 17 years old. Wayne was also recording his verses over a Develop beat, and here is a lyric from one of the verses: “If time is money, I’m an hour past paid.”
