On February 15th, Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A. brought out Lil Wayne and Jeremih during his 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend set at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

The rapper/NBA player and Weezy performed their “Run It Up” collaboration off the Confirmed album live, which also makes it the very first time these two have both appeared on stage together.

“D. Lill in the building, he one of us; Number 8 24, put your numbers up”

Damian Lillard, who goes by the stage name of Dame D.O.L.L.A. in hip-hop, recently chopped it up with Billboard to promote his new album, Confirmed.

During their interview, the NBA player and rapper talked about Lil Wayne sending him songs to jump on, the biggest way in which Wayne has tested him with music, and more.

Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A. recently sat down with HotNewHipHop for a one on one interview to chat all about his new single “Run It Up” featuring Lil Wayne.

The NBA player and rapper revealed “Run It Up” is probably the best song he has released to date, as well as what he learned from being in the studio with Weezy.

Dame also spoke on Tunechi‘s recording process, Birdman clearing the feature, and told a story of Tune coming up with a hook idea while a beat played in the studio!

Scott Storch has shared some behind the scenes footage of him and Lil Wayne in the studio working on Dame D.O.L.L.A.‘s “Run It Up” single.

If you didn’t already know, Scott produced Dame and Weezy‘s “Run It Up” collaboration, which will appear on D.O.L.L.A.‘s upcoming Confirmed album.

A couple of days ago, Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A. did a press run in New York City for his upcoming Confirmed album and his new “Run It Up” single featuring Lil Wayne, which you can check out in the clips below.

One of these press run stops included a visit to Shade 45’s “Sway In The Morning” radio show. At the 5:00 mark, Dame spoke to Sway Calloway and Heather B about being in the studio with Weezy and bouncing ideas off of each other to beats, as well as revealed they have “a number of songs” that they have recorded together from his first album to now.

The NBA player and rapper also stopped by Complex to appear on episode 197 of their “Everyday Struggle” series. Throughout his appearance, Lillard discussed plenty of things about Tunechi, such as his work ethic, Cash Money trying to block his verse on “Loyal To The Soil“, listening to his music, what he learned from being in the studio with him, and hearing unreleased Tune music!
