Earlier this year, Rich Homie Quan was the special guest on episode 171 of Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson‘s “All The Smoke” podcast.

At the 24:05 mark of their conversation, which you can watch below, RHQ was asked who is his favorite music artist to collaborate with to which he answered none other than Lil Wayne.

Quan went on to say Weezy was his biggest inspiration growing up from his baggy pants to growing his hair, to getting his first tattoo. He also recalled working in the Hit Factory studio with Tune and how he has so much respect for his work ethic. “Tune GOATed”!

2 Chainz Recalls Informing Lil Wayne He Won A Grammy Award In 2017 As He Had No Idea At The Time

Earlier this year, 2 Chainz was the special guest on episode 122 of Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson‘s “All The Smoke” podcast.

At the 30:00 mark of their interview, Tity Boi explained how Playaz Circle‘s “Duffle Bag Boy” collaboration with Lil Wayne came together, which all started from selling Birdman and Cash Money Records some weed.

During their convo at the 40:00 mark, Chainz talked about receiving his first ever GRAMMY award for Chance The Rapper‘s “No Problem” single featuring himself and Wayne back in 2017. He says it was a blessing, it was himself who got Tunechi on the song, and he was the one who informed Tune they had won a GRAMMY for the collab as he was somewhere skateboarding and had no idea!

Later on in their conversation at 1:06:40, 2 Chainz named his top 5 rappers of all time dead or alive and Weezy was No. 1 in his list. The rest were: Jay Z, Scarface, Andre 3000, and Tupac Shakur plus The Notorios B.I.G. as a whole. You can check out the full video after the jump below!

Baron Davis Recalls Lil Wayne Hanging Around Him & His Brother Term

For episode 88 of Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson‘s “All The Smoke” podcast, they chopped it up with special guest Baron Davis to reflect on his NBA career, Kobe Bryant, activism, cannabis in sports, and much more.

During their interview at 44:45, Davis recalled how Lil Wayne used to hang around him and his brother Term (El Jefe) all of the time back in the day, and soak all of their stories up. He also called Wayne his “brother still to this day”, as well as revealed he tried to get Weezy and The Game to create a joint The Black Wall Street Records South record label.

Episode 7 took place on Friday night (June 5th) of Lil Wayne‘s “Young Money Radio” show, which included special guests Muriel Bowser, Snoop Dogg, Stephen Jackson, Chris Paul, Killer Mike, and Bun B.

During this show, Weezy clarified his recent comments about police brutality and racism by explaining he was saved by a white cop (Uncle Bob) when he was younger while black cops left him and looked for the gun. However, he does share stories of how he has experienced racism by white cops and even by a white pilot on his private plane.

Jayson Tatum Says Lil Wayne Is In His Top 5 Favorite Music Artists & Would Love A Name Drop On Dedication 7

Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson recently chopped it up with Jayson Tatum for episode 35 of their “All The Smoke” podcast (see below), which is of course the same podcast Lil Wayne appeared on last month.

Around the 54:00 mark of their interview, Jayson was asked about music and went on to name his top 5 music artists. Weezy, who the professional NBA athlete called a G.O.A.T., was mentioned in this list along with JAY-Z, Drake, The Notorious B.I.G., and Nelly.

Not long after this conversation, the Boston Celtics player was asked which music artist he would love to have name-drop him in one of their songs and he answered with Tunechi or Yo Gotti. He then added it would be great to hear Tune reference his name on one of his next mixtapes like a Dedication 7!
