Birdman Hints At His & Lil Wayne’s “Like Father, Like Son II” Album Dropping In The Summer

Birdman Hints At His & Lil Wayne Like Father Like Son 2 Album Dropping In The Summer

Yesterday, Birdman posted up the photo above of himself and Lil Wayne on Instagram with the following caption:

“like father like son summertime RG YMCMB”

While this is no official confirmation, it does look like Baby is hinting that him and Weezy are planning to release their Like Father, Like Son II: Tha Last MOB collaboration album in the summer.

Don’t forget the #1 Stunna also mentioned in an interview back in 2012 that the follow up to their 2006 album, Like Father, Like Son, was completed! Do you think the project will drop this summer?

Alfred Morris Says “Dedication 2” Is His Favorite Mixtape, The Olympicks Confirm Working On “Like Father, Like Son II”

On the red carpet at the 3rd Annual NFL Honors at Radio City Music Hall in New York City last night, Fuse caught up with a few American football players to ask them who they would choose to be in their fantasy music lineup.

During the interview with Alfred Morris, he mentioned that Lil Wayne‘s Dedication 2 mixtape is one of his favorite mixtapes of all time. Pretty cool!

In other news, producers The Olympicks recently spoke to Jack Thriller/ThisIs50 about being signed to Cash Money Records, as well as working on Birdman and Weezy‘s upcoming Like Father, Like Son II: Tha Last MOB collaboration album.

You can watch their interview below.

A Birdman & Lil Wayne Single Featuring Flow Dropping Soon?

A Birdman & Lil Wayne Single Featuring Flow Dropping Soon

Mack Maine has announced on Twitter that a new song from the YMCMB team will be released tomorrow at 11AM EST. While it has not been confirmed, I have a good feeling it will be the first single from Birdman and Lil Wayne‘s Like Father, Like Son II: Tha Last MOB album.

“New music from the team tomorrow…2014 flow”

“2 legends and rookie of the year at 11am tomorrow….we go be alright”

Tthe “rookie” is most-likely Young Money’s Flow and even though Baby and Weezy‘s names aren’t mentioned, they would fit the “2 legends” title.

I also think it could be the full version of this snippet that we got a few months ago, because Mack tweeted “we go be alright” and you can hear in the snippet that Tune raps something similar: “And Tunechi, he gon’ be alright as long as he got his pills”.

Don’t forget Wayniacs that nothing is confirmed here, but it does look like we will get some new Wayne tomorrow morning. Check back to LilWayneHQ then!

Baby discussed Rich Gang, what he hopes to accomplish with it, Wayne‘s decision to retire, why he always rubs his hands, if he would ever be open to do a hand lotion endorsement deal, the Trick Daddy situation, Rick Ross’ lyrics on “U.O.E.N.O.“, and if Game is signed to Cash Money Records or not. The #1 Stunna also announces that his Bigga Than Life album will drop in September, himself, Tune and Drake will be dropping a Big Tymers album in the future but without Mannie Fresh, and that his collaboration album with Weezy called Like Father, Like Son II: Tha Last MOB is still being worked on.

Lil Wayne Will Not Be Retiring Any Time Soon, Hints At Big Tymers Album With Drake

While at his SUPRA Spectre sneaker launch event in Miami a few days ago, Lil Wayne sat down with MTV to chat about about his retirement and what his next album might be.

Weezy F Baby has previously announced that his last album will be Tha Carter V, but he mentioned in this interview that we will receive a lot more music from him before C5 drops and that he would not be retiring any time soon!

He also hinted that his next project may be a Big Tymers album with Drake. If you didn’t already know, the Big Tymers are a duo group consisting of Birdman and Mannie Fresh. I am guessing that this project may be instead of the Like Father, Like Son II: Tha Last Mob collaboration album and even the collaboration album with Drizzy, which both Wayne and Drake have confirmed is not happening anymore.
