ASAP Ferg Speaks On Working With Lil Wayne On No Ceilings

A$AP Ferg recently chopped it up over Skype with DJ Semtex for an episode of his “Hip Hop Raised Me” podcast.

During their conversation, Ferg spoke on how his “No Ceilings” collaboration with Lil Wayne and Jay Gwuapo that was produced by AXL Beats came about, as well as how close he was to asking Skepta and Octavian to feature on it.

The Harlem rapper also discussed “having the G.O.A.T. [Lil] Wayne jump on a [UK] drill joint” and revealed Wayne sent his verse back to him the following day after first sending the track! You can check out exactly what Ferg said in the video below.

Manchester’s very own Aitch recently filmed himself jamming out to Jack Harlow‘s What’s Poppin’” remix featuring Lil Wayne, DaBaby and Tory Lanez while being chauffeured around.

The UK rapper told his friends that he believes Wayne went the hardest on the remix and got hyped over the “same old dick, new Magnums” bar.

For a surprise on Christmas Day, RapRadar and TIDAL released a brand new 2-hour interview with Drake that took place at his amazing new home in Toronto, Canada.

At the start of their conversation, Drizzy revealed that his goal at first was to be as important as his “mentor” Lil Wayne and that he does not think anyone in music before or after will ever have the same work ethic as what Wayne has.

After talking about Tunechi‘s “most insane work ethic”, the 6 God then recalled witnessing Tune record 4 – 5 classics in one night and seeing Kobe Bryant walk in on the tour bus during his very first meeting with Weezy to get an early release of Tha Carter III on an iPod.

Later on in the interview, Drake mentioned Lil Wayne will always be one of his favorite music artists, how a lot of things changed when he went to jail in 2010, how Wayne doesn’t listen to no other artists when he is in album mode, and confirmed he is not signed to Young Money any more.

Since his 36th birthday, Lil Wayne has been spotted rocking a new custom necklace with an 18-carat yellow-gold pendant in the shape of his face on it.

It turns out that this pendant, which features 2 white diamonds for Wayne‘s tear drop face tattoos, was gifted to him for his birthday from a close friend. You can get a better look at the chain after the jump below.

A 29-year-old art student named Joy Bonfield-Colombara was struggling to pay her £9,500.00-a-year course at the Royal College Of Art university in London, England and considered on dropping out until she received an e-mail from one of Weezy‘s close friends.

Joy revealed to the BBC that she had 2 – 3 weeks to create the pendant in time for Tunechi‘s birthday and after selling it to Tune‘s friend for “thousands” of pounds, the money she earned was used to help pay a “chunk” of her course fees so she could carry on at university!
