As we are approaching Lil Wayne‘s long-awaited Tha Carter V album, I thought I would make a post of all the music artists, producers and athletes who have been recently teasing the project.

We have already seen Floyd Mayweather and James Harden promote C5, and now Wale, Iamsu!, Odell Beckham Jr., Cool & Dre, Metro Boomin, and Vinylz (produced “Believe Me” with Drake) have all hinted at the album on their social media pages.

You can check out what all of these people have said about Tunechi‘s upcoming Tha Carter V album after the jump below and I will be sure to update this post if anyone else famous promotes the project! When do you think C5 will be dropping? Maybe Tune‘s birthday (September 27th)?

After premiering the song just under 4 weeks ago, Lil Wayne‘s latest single called “Believe Me” featuring Drake has finally been added to iTunes.

Vinylz Talks Producing Lil Wayne Believe Me Single Featuring Drake, Tha Carter 5 Album & More

After reading an interview last week, here is another new interview that AllHipHop did with Vinylz about producing Lil Wayne‘s new single featuring Drake called “Believe Me“.

The producer discusses co-producing the “Believe Me” beat with Boi-1da last year, sending it to Drake who then played it for Wayne in the studio, hearing that Wayne recorded over more of his beats on Tha Carter V, if he thinks C5 will be Wayne‘s last album, and if he believes Drizzy was sending shots at Jay-Z on the song.

Vinylz and Boi-1da, who are the guys behind Lil Wayne and Drake‘s “Believe Me” instrumental, speak to Revolt all about producing Tha Carter V single.

The producers mention that at first they sent the beat to Drizzy and had no idea that Weezy would be jumping on it, as well as using it for the first single off his upcoming album.

They also discussed the process behind the production and how Drizzy Drake and Tunechi never fail when they collaborate on records together.

The official artwork for Lil Wayne‘s first single off his forthcoming Tha Carter V album, “Believe Me“, has been released online! Weezy‘s Young Money artist Drake will be featured on the song, which was produced by Vinylz.

There is no official release date just yet for “Believe Me“, but it is rumored to premiere early next week. Maybe we will see some more sports stars promoting Tha Carter V season until the track drops?

In other news, the “Weezy Wednesday’s” episode for this week is basically the exact same 15-second clip that Floyd Mayweather shared on his Instagram page earlier today, so that is why I have not posted it up.
