At the 10:35 mark, they asked Rob if it was cooler to be a Hot Boy or a No Limit soldier back in the day.
Without hesitation, he picked Hot Boys and said: “I wanted to be Lil Wayne.”
Later in the conversation, Rob discussed their “Wassam Baby” single, a moment he says he predicted back in school.
He explained how he called his shot early in his career and eventually landed the Weezy verse for the song.
Near the end of the interview, the New Orleans rapper revealed he had to open at Lil Weezyana Fest in order to lock in the verse.
