Feature Friday #67: Nicki Minaj – Young Money Ballaz (Feat Lil Wayne)

Nicki Minaj Young Money Ballaz Feat Lil Wayne

For this week’s “Feature Friday” installment, I have picked Nicki Minaj‘s “Young Money Ballaz” track featuring her Young Money boss Lil Wayne.

The song can be found on the Barbie‘s Sucka Free mixtape, which was released back in 2008.

“I’m nasty on the beat like The Runners, I’m a gunner; Like a hunter with a gun, with a deer right in front ’em; I’mma send him to who brung him, let Nina Ross tongue him”

You can listen and download “Young Money Ballaz” below. Click here to see footage of Nicki and Weezy recording the track in a studio on The Come Up (Vol. 17) (Wayne’s World Edition) DVD!

Update On Lil Wayne & DJ Scoob Doo’s “The Nino Brown Story (Part 3)” DVD

Lil Wayne & DJ Scoob Doo The Nino Brown Story 3 DVD

Remember Lil Wayne and DJ Scoob Doo‘s “The Nino Brown Story (Part 3)” DVD that was supposed to drop 3 years ago? Well today, we finally get an update on the documentary and why it has not yet been released.

Scoob Doo sent Nick Canas a direct message on Twitter explaining that he is waiting on Weezy F Baby and Young Money to give him the green light first before he puts out “The Nino Brown Story (Part 3)“.

I know this ain’t really anything new, but I guess the documentary could drop at the end of this year or in 2020. Also, I wonder if the people who pre-ordered it like myself will still get their copy when the DVD is finally released.

Hilarious Video Of Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj From “The Re-Up” Album Bonus DVD

Above, you can watch the full clip of Lil Wayne‘s appearance in the 90 minute DVD that was included with Nicki Minaj‘s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up album.

In this hilarious video, Weezy F Baby and Nicki can be seen chilling and having fun outside of The Hit Factory studio in Miami, Florida. The Barbie is wondering why Wayne wasn’t going to ask her to record a verse for his Dedication 4 mixtape (this was before they recorded “Mercy“) while Wayne is wondering why she doesn’t wear any TRUKFIT clothing.

One of my favorite parts from this clip is when Tune is talking about why he doesn’t sit Nicki and Drake down anymore and give them lectures: “That’s because y’all got too big, *looks at her behind*, no pun intended” 😆 Another one of my favorite parts is at the end of the clip when Minaj is explaining how Weezy showed every rapper in the game today how to do it, but then he goes: “I don’t want to take no credit for that, because you niggas ain’t doing it right”… and walks away!

It’s always good when we get behind the scenes videos of Tune and I’m sure you will all agree with me when I say we need another documentary on him. You can watch the full DVD when you buy Nicki Minaj‘s album from Amazon or your local music store.

Lil Wayne Loses Quincy Jones III Lawsuit & Has To Pay Him Over $2 Million

Lil Wayne Loses Quincy Jones III Lawsuit & Has To Pay Him Over $2 Million

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne just lost his lawsuit against Quincy Jones III over “The Carter Documentary”, as well as the countersuit Quincy filed against him.

Weezy filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones III earlier this year claiming that he never gave him permission to use music off his Tha Carter III album for the documentary that Quincy put out called “The Carter“. Quincy also filed a countersuit against Wayne saying that he screwed up the potential profit of the documentary by withdrawing his support for it.

Due to suffering from two seizures, Tunechi did not make an appearance in court for his trial on the day he was supposed to. This then meant Tune‘s lawyer had to show the jury Wayne‘s deposition videotape with Quincy‘s lawyer, Pete Ross, and you all know how serious he took that!

The jury called Lil Wayne‘s behavior in the deposition tape “unreasonable” and “irresponsible”, and also ordered him to pay Quincy $2,195,000. Damn!
