For a surprise on Christmas Day, RapRadar and TIDAL released a brand new 2-hour interview with Drake that took place at his amazing new home in Toronto, Canada.

At the start of their conversation, Drizzy revealed that his goal at first was to be as important as his “mentor” Lil Wayne and that he does not think anyone in music before or after will ever have the same work ethic as what Wayne has.

After talking about Tunechi‘s “most insane work ethic”, the 6 God then recalled witnessing Tune record 4 – 5 classics in one night and seeing Kobe Bryant walk in on the tour bus during his very first meeting with Weezy to get an early release of Tha Carter III on an iPod.

Later on in the interview, Drake mentioned Lil Wayne will always be one of his favorite music artists, how a lot of things changed when he went to jail in 2010, how Wayne doesn’t listen to no other artists when he is in album mode, and confirmed he is not signed to Young Money any more.

Jennifer Lopez sat down for an interview with TIDAL’s “CRWN” series at the Manhattan Center in New York City on April 9th.

During her conversation, J. Lo revealed who her top 5 rappers of all time are to which she named: Nas, Big Pun, Fat Joe, The Notorious B.I.G., and Lil Wayne.

“Nas is one of my favorite rappers of all time. He might be my number one. I don’t think I’ve heard anybody who raps, who hits me in the same way. He sounds like the guys I grew up with, but he’s also so intelligent. I always felt he was so smart. I just love that, I love his style. I would say I’d have to rep for Pun and [Fat] Joe. Biggie. I would definitely say Lil Wayne as well. He did call me Miss Lopez on a song like I was a teacher. So cute.“

If you didn’t already know, Wayne and Lopez worked together on her “I’m Into You” single back in 2011!

Evan Hernandez, who is a part of Lil Wayne‘s skater crew Sqvad Up, recently shared some footage of himself on Wayne‘s private jet. In the background on the clip, 2 new Weezy songs can be heard playing.

In the first preview, it sounds like the track samples LL Cool J and Jennifer Lopez’ “Control Myself” (the ZihZih part) and Tune can also be heard rapping: “put some respect on Lil Wayne”, which could be a little shot at Birdman and his “Respek” word.
