Lil Wayne Performs At Paris Hiltons Birthday Party, Gets A New Face Tattoo

Last night, Lil Wayne performed live on a couch inside of Paris Hilton‘s crib in Los Angeles for her 32nd birthday party. Weezy F Baby performed around 10 songs for the lucky people in attendance with Marley G standing next to him.

Earlier in the day, Tune also invited tattoo artist Jeff Plunkett to his Beverly Hills house. By looking at these photos, it looks like Wayne got “17” tattooed on the side of his face. This is of course for 17th Ward – the neighborhood he grew up in Hollygrove, New Orleans.

50 Cent Speaks On People Comparing Lil Wayne’s New Songs To His Older Music

50 Cent Speaks On People Comparing Lil Waynes New Songs To His Older Music

XXL magazine recently interviewed 50 Cent and during the interview, 50 spoke on how even though Lil Wayne is still one of the best rappers in hip-hop today, so many people are just comparing all of his new music to his older songs off his Tha Carter albums.

On your last verse from “My Life” you say, “I haven’t been this fucking confused since I was a kid.” What did you mean by that?
It’s being in the position where you’re the happiest person in the world, because the general public is deciding to support you as an artist, and it’s almost a dream sequence for you as an artist. Everything’s going your way, right? And you’re successful long enough for the artist community to put a shadow of doubt over you. Meaning the guy that wants next, that wants to be the next artist, he wants his turn. So, if you stay in a position where you’re winning, he goes, “Damn, I won’t get a chance to be No. 1 as long as he’s around, because he’s No. 1.” For some reason, they think they gotta get rid of the guy that’s No. 1. It’s like, you reach a certain point in your career—right now, I believe Wayne is at that point. He’s had so many successful records that I hear people go, “Yeah, it’s cool, but it ain’t as good as it was when Tha Carter came out.” And that’s exactly what they did to me with Get Rich or Die Tryin’. So it feels like a cycle of things that artists experience.

So you think that kind of feeling is more a reflection of other people than the music itself, whether it’s you or Wayne or whoever?
Exactly. When you get talent out there and they making good music—I mean, music marks time, so you never really get a second chance. Wayne came in as an artist—when that Carter record worked, he had been working how long before he got to that point? That wasn’t a new artist. He was established, so he was ready for the attention and for the run that he actually got.

Lil Wayne Is Not Working On A “No Ceilings 2” Mixtape, Instead Working On A “Dedication 4” Or “Da Drought 4” Tape!

Lil Wayne Working On A Dedication 4 Or Da Drought 4 Mixtape

Either Lil Wayne changed his mind, or DJ Scoob Doo screwed up his tweet yesterday when he said he heard a second installment of a certain mixtape is about to be in the works.

We all thought Wayne was going to start work on No Ceilings 2, but it now looks like the mixtape is either going to be Da Drought 4 or Dedication 4 because Scoob Doo just tweeted this: “And I heard that mixtape is a 4th installment and not a 2nd ‪#breadoverbed”.

So the good news is that Weezy F Baby is still starting work on a mixtape for us fans before he drops his I Am Not A Human Being II album later this year, but it will not be No Ceilings II like most of us had hoped.

Personally, I think it might be Dedication 4 because the DJ who hosts the Dedication series, DJ Drama, his latest tweet says: “Wow, homie just did “burn”. That tape gon be crazy”. I have no idea if he is talking about Tunechi, but I hope so, because that instrumental is a banger! Also, Mack Maine did confirm that there would be a Dedication 4 tape back in 2010 when Weezy was locked up.

Anyways, which mixtape would you want next from TuneDa Drought 4 or Dedication 4

Lil Wayne Revisits “Tha Carter II” Style On “I Am Not A Human Being II” Album [Video]

Lil Wayne new 5BORO pigeon tattoo on the side of his face
Lil Wayne tattooed the 5BORO pigeon on the side of his face.

MTV aired the first episode of their new weekly show called Hip Hop POV at midnight last night, which included a “special” interview with Lil Wayne. DJ Amanda Seales took a visit to Weezy‘s Miami crib to talk about him resigning a new four-album deal with Cash Money Records, his forthcoming I Am Not A Human Being II album (it’s going to have 16 songs on it), another project he has been recording called Devol, TRUKFIT, revealing all he could think about in Rikers Island while locked up was woman, and more.

Another thing you Waynaics are going to love is the fact that Tune let Amanda listen to his I Am Not A Human Being II album and at the end of the interview she said this: “A lot of us Wayne fans have said ‘where is that Carter II Wayne’… he is on this album!”

Check out part 1 of the interview below.

Video: Lil Wayne’s Public Service Announcement #2

Lil Wayne gets Derick G to record PSA #2 were Wayne and Mack Maine introduce Young Money’s newest member, Torion Sellers. I previously posted about this on YoungMoneyHQ back in August, but it looks like the deal has only now just been made official. Torion, who is 14-years-old, can rap, sing and dance, and has been described as a: “cross between Justin Bieber and Chris Brown”. You can also preview some of Torion‘s music by downloading his The Initiation Vol. 1 mixtape here.
